Hey everyone, I hope everyone has been having an amazing week so far! It's been a great week here and being able to see an awesome celestial event like the eclipse was pretty cool too. As I've been thinking over what cannabis education topics I would like to do with this blog, I've decided to push myself a little out of my comfort zone and sign up to some local farmer's markets.
So, I'm excited and nervous to announce that this Saturday the 13th I'll be set up at the local market, Mo's Market in Waukomis Oklahoma from 8am -12pm. This market occurs every second Saturday of the months in market season and carries a wide variety of local products that are always charming to browse through. Aside from cannabis education I'll also have a couple of my herbal beauty products to sell that day. Studying plant medicine has long been a fascination of mine even before I pursued my degree in medical cannabis science.
Beyond putting myself out there with local farmer's markets, I'm still continuing to work on my book and hope to have it ready for publishing soon. Editing is far more intense of a project than I had originally anticipated and sometimes life has a way of getting hectic. As I continue learning about the cannabis industry and its affects, I find myself adding that new information in to different sections of the book. Just recently I learned of the Drug Policy Alliance and the work they are doing campaigning to de-schedule and decriminalize marijuana. It is incredibly motivating to see work like this being done. I would encourage any readers to visit the Drug Policy Alliance website to learn about their different campaigns and to sign their petitions if you agree. Following and supporting campaigns like this can help their message reach more people.
On my last blog post I spoke a little about the broad spectrum CBD cream from Diapedic that I tried for pain in my hand and elbow. I've continued to use the cream on a daily basis (when I remember honestly) and its still providing relief. It's helped reduce the mild pain that comes with rotating my hand so much so that I can easily tell if its been more than a day without applying the cream. I really enjoy the texture of the cream, it's smooth and fluffy without melting. If you're local to me, I have some sample sizes you could try out. If you're interested in trying out the product but are not local to me, I also have QR code for a discount for the Diapedic company. For full disclosure, I would receive a small commission if you purchase through my QR code but you can also get it straight from their website www.diapedic.com. I hope you continue learning about cannabis and if you're local to the Waukomis area, I hope to see you at their Mo's Market this Saturday!
